Email is bothersome
Ok, so I have two email addresses - one is for friends and one is for mostly junk emails although both seem to have a lot of junk in them since no one emails me anymore on the one. It's all jokes. We have a house email address too which is fine but it's starting to get out of control. I had it cleaned out but they keep piling in. Jokes from hubby's friends, sales ads from our favorite stores, jokes from my friends... it's madness I tell you!
The whole thing is insane. I've spent the better part of my morning so far going through emails on all accounts only to put off dealing with some emails until later anyway. I keep the ones I want to read later which just adds to my ever growing email count which on my main email is now up to 239. There are over 500 emails in the junk email inbox and 197 in our home email inbox. 9 of which are unread (all from my mother and mostly job postings - apparently, she has nothing to do at work today or any other day).
It's taken me an hour to go through about 300 emails and now I'm sorting through the ones I kept. Better just read them now and get it over with. It's also time to do some trimming to the subscriptions too because this is getting out of hand. I'm not working so I can spend a Thursday morning going through all this stuff but when I was working, I remember spending hours upon hours on the weekend just reading email and none of it was from friends... it was all just junk essentially. What a waste of time. I should be applying to jobs (my mother has sent me 10 so far now) but those take a long time too so I'm putting that off as well. I will do that later on this afternoon though when the hubs is home. He has three days off from work! =)
