And not even fun painting like on a canvas either... just painting walls. I love the color we picked out to cover all our crazy colors. It is calming and I'm surprised at how much I like it. I just learned a trick last night regarding tape... tape everything off and lightly paint the edges to seal the tape and then go back around with a heavy amount of paint on the brush to trim. Take the tape off right away. That way, you don't get paint seeping under the tape and you wind up with a nice crisp line. I usually clean the brushes and get everything picked up before I pull the tape off but regardless, I always take the tape off when the paint is wet. If you wait until it's tacky with the thicker paints, you could pull the paint off the wall.
It's thick paint but red is transparent so you have to make sure you get enough on there so you can't see through it anymore.

The primer is the color you paint the wall beneath the red (if you choose to paint it red)?
That means it's best to choose a primer that's not too light like white?
I'm not sure I understand about the tape. I you take it off right away, don't you risk the paint sliding where it shouldn't? I think I'll need to ask my dad about stuff like that.

If the paint is sliding down the wall, you have bigger problems than the tape. lol If the paint is not sliding down the wall, taking the tape off will not hurt anything. You will get dirty though because the paint on the tape will still be wet! Don't touch anything! lol
