Date #1:
Saurbah - met at Belsize Park tube and stopped at Marks & Spencer to pick up snacks and drinks before a LONG walk to Hampstead Heath. It took us an hour to find Parliament Hill, but once we did it was a gorgeous view of the London skyline! He knew where everything was and could point it out to me. We sat on the hill for hours chatting about everything and eating and drinking (and sunburning thanks to the fact that it ended up more sunny than we planned with no sunscreen). After we stopped at a little cafe for lattes and then took the tube back together. We parted with a kiss on each cheek (how European!) and a hug. Mild spark.
Date #2:
Paul - met at Dr. Johnson's House in East London to see the house of the guy who put together the first English dictionary. The entire museum only took about 30-45 minutes and was not quite as exciting as I'd hoped. After we wandered over to the steps of St. Paul's Cathedral where we sat on the steps chatting for a bit. We were definitely in the backs of some wedding party's photos after their wedding that morning! We parted at the tube with a hug and kiss on the cheek. No spark.
Date #3:
Peter - met at The Porterhouse in Covent Garden after work for a few pints. We chatted for hours about everything and he waited the convo out every few minutes looking for an opportunity to crack a joke (although too often for my liking?). I received an invite to tea at Fortum & Mason and an invite to Barcelona "in the future" during the date - too soon?? After we walked to the tube station and I opted to take the bus home. The bus was coming down the street and he decided at that moment it was the right time for a good bye kiss and went in for it... only I needed to run for the bus, so it felt like a hit and run. When I got home I already had 2 texts from him inviting me out this weekend and saying what a good time he had. Too soon? Mild spark.
Oi.
Where is the spark???
