I just saved 8,000 lives.

With just a few keystrokes. A certain event happened in my book as part of the backstory. I wrote that ten-thousand fae died.

Ten-thousand is a huge number! This was just one city. It was a fairly large city but, really? 10,000?

No need to overdo it, Sandy. Two-thousand. Two-thousand is a much more believable number.

Heh. I read 10,000, and the first thought I had was that Prague circa 1300 A.D. had a population roughly 10,000.

Then I remembered you write Urban Fantasy... ;-)

I know! This has led me to actually have to think about the population of the fae's world.
