[OOC: 20 Things Meme]
1. Nabooru is old. Very old. She carries it quite well, dontcha think? :D
2. She's never lived outside the desert; the only other place she's been to (besides the Sacred Realm) was Vincent's apartment outside of Midgar.
3. Nabooru has a tendency to fall back on her roots, and call most women "sister." This is because the Gerudo tribe consists only of women, and as such will refer to each other as "sister," whether they are related or not.
4. Her best friend was the one who gave birth to Ganondorf; when Nabooru told her of the visions she'd had, their friendship was broken (Ganondorf ended up killing his mother, btw). What Nabooru didn't know was that the friend was going to ask her to be her son's godmother. ._.
5. Nabooru hates Ganondorf. HATES. She never trusted him, and refused to ever give up her power to him, even when he managed to turn half of the tribe against her. Just speaking or hearing his name makes her blood boil.
6. She has a deep distrust of men in her realm. However, since getting involved in DDD, she's found out that not all of them are bad - and some are worthy friends.
7. Ever since the family virus way back when, Nabooru's found herself harboring feelings for Vincent, to the point that she thinks she might be in love with him. But she won't admit it. For now. And never to her sisters.
8. Nabooru used to abhor kids with a passion; after meeting up with kid!Link however, she's softened up a bit, though she's not the best person in the world when it comes to a whining, bratty child.
9. Impa's combat skills? She was trained by Nabooru - the Sheikah was brought to the Fortress as a teen when Kakariko was destroyed in the Great Wars, and became close friends with the Gerudo Queen.
10. It takes a lot to really shake Nabooru; she's lived through the Great War, and seen too much carnage and bloodshed to have anything close to a weak stomach.
11. But she hates Skultullas. Damn spiders creep her out like none other. Just the way they skitter up walls and whatnot. Ew.
12. She is not a conventional queen. She does not need people to address her as "Your Highness" or "Your Majesty," she does not like dressing up unless it's absolutely required, and she thinks most of the traditions still upheld by Hyrule Castle are tired and antiquated.
13. Nabooru loves to read - strangely enough. She prefers to read up on the history of Hyrule, but is also curious about other realms. She's also an avid wine drinker.
14. She is the only Gerudo adept at using magic - and that is the only thing she will ever be grateful to the Great Faerie of the Colossus for.
15. Link had his Ocarina. Zelda had her Ocarina. Sheik has his harp. Nabooru plays the lute - she stole it from a bard who thought he could traipse through Gerudo Fortress unscathed, and taught herself how to play. She occasionally sings along, but most of her songs are instrumental. She has a lyre stashed somewhere as well; Sheik gave it to her as a gift, but Nabooru hasn't yet learned how to play it.
16. She was first trained in combat when she was seven years old and her mother put a scabbard in her hands for practice. Nabooru's now adept in swordplay with nearly any kind of blade, archery (both on foot and on horseback), and the aforementioned magic. She usually fights with two scimitars.
17. Very very very defensive of her friends and loved ones. Even those who she has a somewhat tense but friendly relationship with. Yes Rufus, this means even you - Nabooru would have your back in a fight, even if she doesn't act like it.
18. Even though she is one of Hyrule's Seven Sages, and has had audiences with the Goddesses, Nabooru's not a very religious person. And Nayru? Is just like any other ten-year-old girl. Nabooru gets along the best with Din; Farore's a bit too calm for her.
19. She's not past using sex appeal to get what she wants, but if Nabooru says no, she means no.
20. Nabooru is blunt and to the point. If she asks you something, she expects a clear answer, and will tell you exactly what she thinks...but she's not past being mischievous and toying with people.
Due to Nabooru getting absolutely NO backstory in Ocarina of Time, this consists almost entirely of head-canon and DDD happenings. I have her entire history thought out for her, because Nintendo fails like that.
