Fair warning ahead: the following answers are mainly about one band/artist only. On another note: the title of my entry is borrowed from the movie of the same name, which stars Julie Andrews and was mainly shot here in Austria.
1. If you could join any band, which would you join? Why?
Bon Jovi, if only for finally seeing the guys live on stage XD No, seriously, I love the mood they create on a live gig (even though I haven't been to one myself, I get a bit from live videos and recordings). Just go on YT, type in "Bon Jovi live" and enjoy (you will not only find single songs, but full concerts there!). It might not sound as on CD, and I know more than one occasion where Jon almost completely has changed the lyrics, but that's what is bound to happen when a band really performs live (which Jon and his fellow Jersey Boys do).
Back to the question: If I could choose a job on the tour, it would be the photographer, capturing the best scenes.
2. Who is your favorite musician-philanthropist?
I let Wikipedia do the talk:
Jon Bon Jovi, American rock star. Founder of The Jon Bon Jovi Soul Foundation in 2006
Jon Bon Jovi has worked on behalf of the Special Olympics, the American Red Cross, the Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric AIDS Foundation, Habitat for Humanity, Covenant House, Project H.O.M.E., The Jon Bon Jovi Soul Foundation (formerly the Philadelphia Soul Charitable Foundation), and other groups.
He has been named the first Founding Ambassador of the Habitat for Humanity Ambassador program as part of the international nonprofit organization’s new advocacy outreach initiative. Jon Bon Jovi has been raising awareness with Habitat for Humanity since 2005 when he provided the funds to build six homes in Philadelphia and built the homes alongside the homeowner families, as well as with members of his Philadelphia Soul Arena Football Team. The construction site also served as the video shoot location for his band’s single, "Who Says You Can’t Go Home". In 2006, Bon Jovi made a $1 million donation to build 28 Habitat homes in Louisiana in partnership with low-income families on the hurricane-stricken coast. In July, 2007, Bon Jovi announced a project that will rehabilitate a block of 15 homes in north Philadelphia. During an appearance on The Oprah Winfrey Show in 2005, the band donated $1 million to the Angel Network foundation.
The Jon Bon Jovi Soul Foundation (formerly the Philadelphia Soul Charitable Foundation) was founded in 2006 and exists to combat issues that force families and individuals into economic despair. Through the funding and creation of programs and partnerships, they support innovative community efforts to break the cycle of poverty and homelessness. On October 19, 2011, they opened the JBJ Soul Kitchen, a community restaurant where patrons pay what they can afford for their meal, either with money or by volunteering work.
He is one of 21 artists singing on "Everybody Hurts", a charity single organized by Simon Cowell aiding victims of the 2010 Haiti earthquake.

3. What singer would you rather see playing an instrument (and otherwise NOT singing)?
none that I can think of right now (though I'm sure I know one or two XD)
4. Favorite music video ever?
So many good videos, so little time to choose XD But I think I settle on one of the three videos that really got me hooked on (Jon) Bon Jovi - "Blaze Of Glory". The whole setting on a plateau of the Grand Canyon, the interludes with scenes from the movie of the same title (where Jon even had a small part), Jon dressed in these skin tight, light brown leather pants, with just as much as his trusted acoustic guitar, and the in every meaning of the word "hot" ending - just perfection.

5. What song makes you wish you were a video director?
Right now it's a tie-in between "Who Would You Die For" by Bon Jovi (from their latest album "Burning Bridges) and "Heaven" by Matt Bomer (from the MMXXL soundtrack).
For "Who Would Die For", I would have the band in dressed-down room (pretty much no furniture, a good balance between light and dark, both in lighting and color schemes), and weave some of the best scenes from all six seasons of White Collar in.
For "Heaven", I would mix scenes from the movie (especially the one scene where Matty serenades the lucky lady with the song) with some scenes from him recording the song (I just hope that one day we will get a making-of video of Matty in the recording studio)
