Today I am reminded of how short life is. God has placed us all for a certain reason and has given us each our special time frame. It is our duty to fulfill our purpose within the time we have been blessed with on this earth. I learned this afternoon some very sad news. Erin, it will be ok. As you said God will sustain you. We cannot even begin to understand why the things happen that do. All we can see is that this is a broken world, and then we can be comforted in realizing that one through Jesus Christ this world will be whole again. And you are so right. We have to live every moment as if it is our last because it very well may be. While not a very comforting statement we have comfort in knowing that the blood of Jesus Christ was spilled for us. We cannot begin to understand the mind of God, but why would we want to. If any human could understand the mind of God then He would be no bigger than our tiny minds. I personally find comfort in not being able to understand God's plans. Be comforted in knowing that God is in control of your life and that He is caring for you no matter what happens. I know that the past few months have been so very difficult for you, but know that God is listening when you pray, when you cry, and even when you get angry. I am here for you. I know that a phone call is most likely not what you need, but it is all I have to give. I will be here for you if you need me. I love you Erin!
