DART job offer
Well, I'm not quite sure how or why, but sure enough DART has offered me a position as a Community Organizer. I was so certain I completely screwed up the interview. I was a spastic mess, and I wouldn't have hired me, ha ha. It's four months of training from June 26th through October 6th, and then they will relocate us to wherever our individual permanent location assignments are. Since 50% of DART affiliates are in Florida, there's a good chance I will stick around somewhere in the state.
I guess this postpones graduate school. It's extraordinarily doubtful I would choose UF over DART at this point unless the circumstances just suck somehow. I was hoping to write something telling everyone where I will be in five months, but I suppose I still don't know lol. They will inform us of our training sites at the end of April/beginning of May and based on what our strengths are then place us for our job sites towards the end of training.
I'm still wondering how on earth I got this job. They ended up with 21 positions to offer.
Now all I have to do is pass my drawing class from hell.
