Baileys 2nd birthday
I loved christmas and baileys birthday this year because he was a little more involved and receptive to what was going on. He loved christmas, and for his brithday we bought him a cake from safeway because they make awsome cakes. It was a white cake with strawberry filling and whip cream icing and of course there was Lightening McQueen and Mater on top. I just went with the whole Cars theme since hes so into the movie, I asked him what kind of cake he wanted but you cant reason with a 2 year old so I just picked it myself. First he wanted Lightening McQueen, then he wanted Barney and I was like um I dont think so..then he wanted wow wow wubbzy.. then he wanted Ni Hao Ki lan.. and I just said ok we're getting Cars.
So we bought all the stuff, I wasnt about to buy themed cups and plates, I bought red cups that you can scratch your name into and red paper plates I got alot more for alot less. Besides it was a few friends and the family so I wasnt gonna get all crazy like I did last year. For his first birthday I got the winnie the pooh cake, cups, plates.. EVERYTHING! but it was worth it.
This birthday was very nice and pretty quiet considering, my parents sent him more toys...like he needed them, my sister sent him bath toys, everyone got him toys although he got tons of toys for christmas but he got some nice clothes too. My parents got him this dinosaur that he loves, its like his new favorite toy and hes named it "orange"..Im not quite sure why he calls it that but I didnt ask..
