I couldn’t find any DW or TW fic search communities, so I was hoping that someone on my friends list could help me out.

-         Are there any fanfics with Jack’s coat/Ianto’s suit as a pairing? With the clothes thoughts or something like that? A friend and I are wondering if this pairing exists ever since the episode “Fragments”

Doctor/Jack, Doctor/Master, Jack/Ianto, or Doctor/Jack/Ianto fics when one or all of the characters become female

There was actually an episode of "Who" in Series Four where we* were all HOPING that the lady in question would turn out to be Captain Jack ... but this did not happen and the episode became, in fact, highly stupid.

I still say it's an intriguing premise, however. And let's go with the Doctor's next regeneration being a woman, alright?? Why COULDN'T the Doctor regenerate into a woman, eh?? It appears to be a complete re-writing of his DNA, right?? So let's just take the next logical STEP already, people!

(Not that anybody in the entertainment business _ever_ listens to me, mind you. :P)

Were you hoping River Song was actually Captain Jack?

It kind of amused me that the mystery woman The Doctor likes in the future: travels, is from the 51 century, heroic, knows her technology well, and flirts a lot. It totally made me like Doctor/Jack even more.

I loved Silence in the Library and Forest of the Dead, though. They were outrageously complicated and heartbreaking. Stephen Moffat is a genius. I think the explanation about CAL, The Doctor meating a woman he'll fall in love with in the future only to watch her die, Donna loosing the fake children and the hubby, and the ending voice over broke me inside.

I don't think I want The Doctor to actually regenerate into a woman. It would be too easy for the writers to fuck up. It's more like a fun crack idea to me. Though, I think it would be very possible for timelords.

Were you hoping River Song was actually Captain Jack?I was hoping DESPERATELY that River Song was actually Captain Jack. See, if River Song had actually been Captain Jack, that would have made everything cool and neat and heartbreaking. However, she was just some random human Sue, and the entire two episodes make me simulataneously die a little inside and vomit in my mouth

I have to admit I was really iffy about River Song. However I loved that she had some Captain Jack like qualities and the Doctor eventually loves her.

However, I think that his relationship with her was more like a tragic extended relationship with Rose. I don't think that they were "lovers" in the sense that they slept together. I think it was just a more mature version of something similar to what The Doctor and Rose had. With the fact that she dies for him, one day, constantly hanging over him.

I loved Forest of the Dead and Silence in the Library, but I'm still not sure about River Song as a character. I think that when/if she appears later on we'll see more of her faults, though.

I wasn't sure about Donna becoming a companion before. Now she's one of my favorites. I had been hoping for a spunky but flawed companion to The Doctor that only wants to be friends for a while.
