STUFFS and THINGS!!!!!!
Well a lot has happened since I last updated.
My Monty Python 16 Ton Megaset has finally arrived! SQUEE!!!
I got to go to Borders lately, and I bought 2 things. The Picture of Dorian Gray and Other Writings by Oscar Wilde and The Who: The Kids Are Alright Documentary. Yet again… SQUEE!
I also have been able to record Much Ado About Nothing off the TV. It’s the version with Robert Sean Leonard, Emma Thompson, Kenneth Branagh, and (unfortunately) Keanu Reeves. I loved the 1st threes acting, and I think this is my favorite Shakespeare film now. Most are crap. RSL was great as Claudio even though he’s American. The scene where he thought Hero died and was at her eulogy was heartbreaking. The joy on his face when he realized she was alive made up for it, though. He’s so cute.
I also recorded In The Gloaming. It's a made for TV movie with RSL. He plays a gay man with AIDS that goes home to die. I think I cried while watching that. IT WAS SOOO SAD!
Then I saw The I Inside. It’s a bizarre movie, but not bad. Robert Sean Leonard plays the dead brother, and I loved his last scene. It was sad seeing him die TWICE, though.
I also rented Blackadder II from netflix. I’m addicted again! DAMN YOU BRITISH TELEVISION! The series is good, and Rowan Atkinson, Stephen Fry, and Hugh Laurie are all great in it. It’s strange seeing Stephen play a priest, and the German character Hugh plays in his second appearance almost killed me with laughter.
This was all great, but there was one problem with this week…
