"John Lennon... Freddie."

I preordered Whose Line is it Anyway?: Season 1 (DVD) (the uncensored version) from overstock.com and it arrived yesterday.

This was wonderful but had 2 disappointments.

1. It didn’t have the Greg/Colin kiss that Colin has mention in interviews in the bonus features. This REALLY annoys me because I was hoping to finally watch the real kiss. I’m almost sure it’s from the WN game on an episode on one of the DVDs where “Colin is in love with the anchorman (Greg).” I could be wrong, though.

2. From the same episode I just mentioned. claireweasley ‘s theory about Ryan having an erection because of the way he sat here is laid to rest. It turned out he spit water on his pants (as shown in the gag reel) and was covering that. *tear* I was so hoping it was from Greg and Colin kissing.

I think my love for Greg, Colin, Ryan, and Brad is multiplying as we speak.

Ryan acting out against Dan was brilliant, and Dan and the censor are REALLY pissing me off. Going berserk and getting Brad’s chair wet was hilarious. Plus he made the cutest embarrassed face when he realized the audience thought he had made Tarzan into bestiality.

Colin was totally adorable as usual. We get to see him “pull a Colin” (or Tony if you prefer) again in a hoedown. He also did a brilliant hoedown that didn’t make it to air, the Sperm Bank ATM machine one. (Remind anyone of a certain scene between Ryan and Colin in a BBC episode?)

I wish I could have seen Greg as Cross Dressing Man solving frizzy hair. He would have been brilliant at that. Unfortunately, the censor had a hissy fit about the cross dressing bit despite how gay the show already is.

Greg’s moments throughout the gag reel were great. When the censor got rid of the mortician Greatest Hits he said “You don’t want dead people calling in”. Then his cute pout about Drew’s comment on no one wanting him in LMAD turning into “Fuck you Drew!”

Then play defending Drew with Denny when the audience wouldn’t stop yelling suggestions in Fashion Show “can’t you tell you’re upsetting the host?” only to make fun of him later. Plus Greg messed up on 2 hoedowns here. He definitely wasn’t the only one, but it’s funny because I only saw him mess up on the Giving Birth BBC hoedown before and he came up with a new one afterwards. Here he says stuff like “god, mother fucking shit” and dances afterwards. Lol

I had not seen 2 of the episodes before. Now I know which episode Brad got the nickname “Monkey Boy” from. Plus his weirdass hoedown in the extra features “I pulled out all my handguns and shot myself alive” is love. I still think getting rid of “gerbil” in bartender was really overboard.

I actually like Drew a bit more now too. Because he helped the others with pissing Dan and the censor off. Plus him holding the buzzer down on the censor while Ryan and Colin pretend to be in agony was funny.

I still sorely miss Clive though. The man was brilliant.

I also borrowed my Drama teacher’s CD of the original Spamalot soundtrack. Now it’s saved on my computer. I especially like the songs: “Monks Chant-He Is Not Dead Yet” and “The Song That Goes Like This”.

My friend Anna (who got to see WWRY personally in England) lent me her soundtrack of We Will Rock You the musical. I think I’m in heaven. I burnt a CD of it and I have been playing it almost constantly. It’s wonderful. Bohemian Rhapsody is good on stage. Somebody to Love is always glorious. The intro and song No-one But You (Only the Good Die Young) makes me come dangerously close to tears. They name some of the most famous dead rock stars they are remembering then the last person says “Freddie” sounding choked up then the song starts and I’m fighting not to cry.
I really need to see this one day.

ryan stiles, queen, we will rock you, monty python, musicals, colin mochrie, spamalot, freddie mercury, greg proops, brad sherwood, whose line is it anyway?
