Goodbye, and thanks for all the fish.
There's good news and bad news. I've been really distracted from here for a few reasons.
The Bad:
A girl I knew since elementary (though I only became a friendly acquaintance of hers this year after we had the same class again) had her leg amputated last weekend. I only found out on Monday. She was driving drunk with her boyfriend and they got wrapped around a tree. They're lucky they survived He’s going to need a metal rod in his leg, but they had to cut hers off to get her out.
Luckily another girl from our class who I know was in a car not far away and called an ambulance on her cell-phone. Now the first girl is going to go through physical therapy and get a fake leg before coming back to school.
Not the best news.
The Good:
I ordered 2 Queen pictures from Allposters.com. I also ordered the Oingo Boingo CD Dead Man’s Party, the Brian May Solo CD Another World (yes I will finally have a solo CD of a Queen member that‘s not Freddie), and Velvet Goldmine from overstock.
Overstock.com is also sending the Whose Line is it Anyway?: Season 1 (DVD). It’s the uncensored version, so I hope it includes Colin and Greg’s REAL kiss from the Weird Newscasters game where Colin is in love with the anchorman (Greg). Not just the fake kiss the censor made them change for to get it to air on ABC.
I also got to see Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy for the First Time! YAYS!
I saw it on Stars and recorded it. *cough* It was so funny. Plus having Stephen Fry as the narrator for the film was a stroke of genius. It’s too amusing hearing him read from the guide. Much love for the Sperm Whale as well “Hello Ground!” *thump*
I’m also starting to regularly watch House now. Damn you Hugh Laurie, why must you be so great? Now I have 2 shows to watch every episode I can of.
