Today was a cool day for Rock.

I rented The Who: Under Review: 1964-1968 which wasn’t nearly as good as The Who: The Kids Are Alright, but was still worth it. I also got to see Classic Albums: The Who: Who's Next which was very cool and explained a lot. The bad thing was it didn't have nearly as much info, interviews, and footage as Classic Albums: Queen: Making of a Night at the Opera which I totally love.

Then I was watching some Whose Line? episodes I recorded yesterday during the marathon. As soon as I reached the end of the last episode on the tape (there were only 2 on it) I pressed stop and the channel I was on (VH1) started to play the music video for “Weird Science” by Oingo Boingo. I was able to record that on the tape. I only missed the first 2 words sung by Danny so I was pretty quick. But it sucks that I missed part because Danny was very HOT there.

Then after I finished recording that a crap music vid came on so I left for a while. About 2 minutes later I heard the opening beat for Pete Townsend’s song “Face the Face” and came in only missing Pete’s opening wail when I recorded it. His wail is very cool OK? So both of these videos are now on my Whose Line tape. I can still fit the usual amount of episodes I think.

Then I was watching 100 Greatest Hard Rock groups on the other VH1 channel and recorded a bunch of stuff about Alice Cooper, Queen, The Who, and Led Zeppelin on my usual rock music vids and specials tape. Then I changed the channel when I realized Back to School was on TV so I recorded Oingo Boingo playing “Dead Man’s Party” in the party scene.

Like I said it was a cool day for rock.
