Seriously belated trip photos, anyone?
I'm going to stick some of my photos from Much Ado About Nothing and the Doctor Who Experience here, for anyone interested in seeing some gratuitous David Tennant/Catherine Tate/et. al. photos.
Everything seems anticlimactic after this one.
I think those speak for themselves, really. After all this time, I don't even know what to say about them other than how much I adore those two.
I actually took photos of every single prop there, but the very best ones are probably these:
And, of course, the TARDIS. The real TARDIS. The actual TARDIS.
Being there was sort of akin to a religious experience, pathetically enough. I had to take a picture from every angle. I was there for probably half an hour. I don't even know. I lost track of time. An employee actually came over to ask if I was okay, which...I don't really understand, because I really don't think I was acting emotional or strange or anything. I was just there for. Well. An extremely long time.
It actually turned out rather well, because the guy that came over started telling me little stories about the pieces that make up the console.
I gushed over everything. The screen.
The jump seat.
The depressing video of Ten regenerating that ran on an endless loop behind the console and did legitimately make me feel emotional time rotor.
It was actually amazing. You could see where the some of the coral bits got burned from the explosions during Ten's regeneration.
I should probably post some of the other things there at some point, but uploading them is taking far too long right now, so.
Best trip ever, just about.
