I should really do a Proper Update, for the sake of not neglecting LJ too terribly much, so here we go.
Life's been a bit insane, but things'll be calming down soon if I'm lucky. Had a root canal last week, and given my crippling fear of the dentist, that was a scary two hours. Two hours. Not fun. But I spent the rest of the day drinking tea and watching Classic Who (The Time Monster) and trying to be as relaxed as possible. I've noticed that I tend to watch a lot of Classic Who when I'm not feeling well. I wonder why that is? Maybe because when you're lying on the sofa for hours, you can justify watching an entire four/six/eight-part serial in one go.
That reminds me - I have no Delgado!Master icons. Someone link me to some nice ones, please.
Things I'm looking forward to: John Simm in Exile. I'd watch him in anything, I admit it, but this drama does look particularly good.
I already saw Dave in United, which was an emotional roller coaster, but anything that contains David Tennant Tears™ is guaranteed to be an emotional roller coaster from the get-go.
Also looking forward to: seeing Craig Ferguson do live standup, in just a few days! The last two times he's booked dates near me, he's cancelled. Both times. So let's hope this one sticks. And oh yeah, a note about that - I still have to travel a bit to get there, and it'll take up a bit of time, so any replies I owe right now might continue to be slow this week. I know I'm already being criminally slow, but you'll get those tags, guys, I promise!
