Back from Alanya, Turkey
Here is our hotel (it was really nice, with huge pool and free drinks!!!)
Here is that street where was our hotel..
This is big mosque which is all made of white marble.
Inside of the same mosque. They give skarfs and skirts to tourist women, bc it's not allowed for any women to show their hair, shoulders and legs in the mosque, bc men can be distracted by them... All the attention must be on God.
last view of mosque:
This is river in the mountains and local ppl chilling:
Rafting station!!! This is one of the rafting guides (crazy guy!!!) and me withh all rafting stuff on and ready to go have some crazy fun in the river.
and chilling in the beach of course:
Buying presents in local jeweller's little store:
aaand last evening. This is our hotel balcony. You can see one of the pool bars down there. There are huge mountains in the horizon, but crappy camera doen't let you to see. Oh and you can see the collar and copper bracelet i bought. You can make really good discounts with turkish ppl. Collar cost 25 lyras (turkish money) and i bought it for 7. Bracelet cost about 10-15 lyras, I bought it for 4!
So yeah, Turkey is very different country from all the countries i've been. People are very different.. Turkish men still can have more than one wife, no matter that it's illegal. In the eastside of Turkey there are many those kind of families. Western side is more "modern". But if man wants to have more than one wife, he has to ask his first wife permission. He has to make a deal with all of them that he will love all his wifes the same.
But it's not a secret that turkish men love european women. They learned few things in english like "where are you from?.....what's your name?..... do you want to go somewhere with me tonight?" and etc... and always gives tons of compliments for all women and girls. Kida cheesy, i can say.
They can do anything for tourists if they'll pay some money. In market place they give you drinks, invite to have a smoke from waterpipe just to make you buy their stuff.
I also tried their national drink Rakki. It's anis vodka. If you put ice in it, it goes all white like milk. It tastes minty and really good.
I also tasted cactus. It's really yummy and reminds me some fruit. It tastes sweet and has many seeds and it's yellow color.
The weather was really hot, about 40C. Most the time we were in our bikinis, bc that heat is unbearable with clothes.
So yeah, I enjoyed this trip and I'm happy I got to know this contrastic country :D
P.S. later i'll write about my sis. now i'm tired and fed up with that stuff, so i don't bother to put it into words right now. I promise i'll tell it later.
