FIFA World Cup 2006

Today, the FIFA World Cup 2006 started in Germany. And I can't be there because of the big examen in less than three weeks. My parents tell me that the atmosphere is terrific!

At least I got to watch the opening ceremony, which was okay, on TV.  And after that, an hour later, the first match of the World Cup:

Germany vs. Costa Rica

And we won!!!! 4:2

I've decided to root for Cote d'Ivoire. I like their team nickname, the Elephants", and a World Cup win could very well mean peace in their country. How can I not root for that?
