I am more than a little touched to be in the middle of what seems to be world history in the making. I am relieved, a touch ecstatic and more than anything else - hopeful. To the Americans I know; damn, you did well. You got it right. And because the world is weird and unbalanced, that means you got it right not just for you, but for all the rest of us as well. I got to get up this morning, check the news and think maybe the world will be an okay place for my children to grow up in after all. Thank you, thank you for that.
