It would be a sticky but luxurious demise

The city rises from the sand, pale and ragged like a heap of broken bones from some antediluvian creature. Beyond it, in the far distance, a reddish haze above the horizon tells of the beginning of the Dune Sea. Grim scowls ferociously and gives me a glance as if to say This is all your fault. I shrug wearily. In a sense, he’s right to blame me. To ( Read more... )

Hold me close, cause I need you to guide me to safety.

I wasn't even feeling bored and like playing around. I just needed pretty. That picture of Blaise will always be asdjhvf;asfjsfjvsjfv heartbreakingly beautiful.

... Even at such a young age, huh. Little shocker. ♥

Saeth must have been so divided at times. XD

"Blaise mine."
"... They're in the same room now. Ah, hell. >> Charges."

Mmmmmbed now.

All the solutions that were handed in. You might find it interesting to look at. The .swf file opens in Flash player. These are not finished, obviously; they're at advanced sketch level, but it illustrates fairly well how many different ways you can solve a structural problem on a website.

Oh, thank you. This will certainly come in handy. We have an entire reconstruction of a website next week, coding and all (this week was just redesign). And it'll generally be a good thing to save and look into every now and again. How did your 5 min talk go?

I got the princeling's presents today. Three knights, one on horse and two on foot. Michael and me used to collect them (different brand, of course, but), and I couldn't quite help myself.

Keep in mind that the focus of this assignment is the navigational/structural level; the focus on the design is less than it might otherwise be, but yeah, you might find it interesting.

<33 cute.

It's downloading. ♥ Ever so slooowly, but yes. And I get my inspiration from the strangest of places. Design, on the other hand, hasn't been covered as much as coding/structure of a website in lectures, so.

They're not Bionicles or video games, made me smile in the store, and they do have weapons. Mini ones. >> Cheats.

rinzen.com is an unusually simple and surprisingly accesible navigation solution. And it has excellent graphic design as well, though I suspect it's not exactly to your taste. ^

Surprising is the right word. You really don't expect for it to work as well as it does. Sometimes it can be that simple, huh. And my taste is feeling awfully neglected as of late, but it really has no place in my head these last couple of weeks. >> Which is good, I'd hate to get stuck in designs and never resort to or try anything else because I don't want to. It's all a matter of discovery.

the brilliant solutions are very often the simple ones. This is one of those WHY DID I NOT THINK OF THIS things.

Screw taste. Everything is an experience. ^

Yes, exactly. As for the brilliant/simple matter; the human mind is practically trained to skip ahead and pass the simple things and answers; this cannot possibly be that easy, there has to be some deeper meaning or more complex answer/end result, and so on.

Ventures on. >>

... dies laughing. So I'm going through the solutions one at a time, and I opened this one file, glanced at the navigation on the left, looked familiar, was reminded of that one site you had to make last year, with Piotr in the group, so I thought "ha, oh, those lines, this one must be Piotr's" and well. XD I glanced up at the filename, and this would be the part where you're at the 'dies laughing'.

... But hell, it is kind of a cute design XD, yet mind-broadening at the same time.
