Children and belonging
I watched this for the first time when I was doing my adoption training in the UK. I saw it again when I was doing more training here in BC. This is one of the most important videos I have ever seen. There is no picture, only words on a screen, and children speaking. This video has shaped my career... I will never forget it. I found it online today and thought I would share the link with anyone wanting to view it.
Warning: this is very emotional so please be in a safe place when you watch. It is very hard to listen to at times, but extremely important for anyone who works with children to see. And very worth it, I believe.
