Back in my younger years, in highschool and before, if you went to watch a movie, you could count on a few things. Stale Popcorn, flat pop, lousy trivia, trailers of 3 to 5 movies you didn't want to see, 1 or 2 solid trailers, and finally, the main event. The movie experience now has one added, and wholely unappreciated element: Commercials. It is true that sometimes they are good commercials, but that doesn't excuse the fact that they are, infact, commercials. I hate that it has stooped to this, this pervasiveness of marketting in our culture, but...eh, whatever. However, everytime I see that horrid Fanta commercial, it makes me want to punch someone in the face. Preferably somebody weak and defenseless. You can fill in the holes for yourself.
On a related note: Aquafina is tap water. That's right, bottled tap water. Maybe you already knew that. I didn't. I was shocked. I hate Aquafina, but love Tap Water. You know what else is tap water? Dasani. Dasani is my favorite brand of bottled water. That trash is delicious. Coke knows Water, Like Bo Knows (knew at this point) Baseball/Football. At one point in time discovering that bottled water was, infact, tap water would have outraged me. Now, I shrug my shoulders and say 'huh', then quickly move on.
I'm working two jobs for this week. A desk job as a secretary for my father. I dont' want to do it, but these things aren't optional. Plus, it's good money for a short period of time. And, ofcourse, there's Aladdin's. The result is a tired Sherif.
