Real Quick...

Jul 16, 2007 19:01

I've had so many things that I've thought: Man, I really oughtta post about this. Things from Vacation, Family, How Bad Transformers Was to How Odd the People I Work With Are.

However, today, I'd like to mention, real quick, something that bothers me. People who don't know when to use words like 'Us' or 'We' as opposed to 'I' or 'You'.

If the boss comes over, angry and demands to know who badly sliced the last piece of cake, the correct answer is 'I did', not, 'Well, we were thinking...'

Not only were 'we' not thinking anything, but 'we' didn't cut the cake poorly, and honestly, 'we' would like to be kept out of it.

On a related note, other Pet Peeves that I've been thinking about lately:

Repeating myself
People who walk away without excusing themselves midsentence.

There, I said it.
