Feeling v. smug, almost decadent! Still in ugly flannel pajamas and fuzzy slippers (the cute baby blue ones with the she-devil embroidered on).

Tax refunds of remarkably decent size: 1
(This of course means can let go of guilt over too many $12 martinis and cheesecake from Lindy's Deli in NYC. Business expenses - glee! Now thinking should have indulged temptation to see just what $7.95 PBJ sammich looks like for novelty's sake.)
Made Honey Oatmeal Bread w/raisins last night. V. comforting fresh from oven; even better as toast w/cinnamon & sugar next day. Mmmmmm. (Lumpy used to say, rightfully so, "Beware the toast monster!" Don't know what it is but while can eat only 1-2 pieces of bread, capacity for toast consumption is nigh limitless.)
More puttering to come this afternoon. On agenda - clothing repair, phone calls to natter at random friends, read, nap, drink more tea, clean hammie cage, did I say nap?
