(no subject)
Junior called. Poor baby spent Thanksgiving and the following day taking care of his dad, who somehow managed to break his ankle doing a handstand. Don't know exactly why; the only explanation offered was that Junior's stepmom could do it...*sigh* Boys. Go fig.
His roommates are on my list though. They took off for Mexico on Wednesday. Dufitul Junior woke up to drive them to the airport at 4am. They were going to be back Monday. Notice the tense of that last sentence. Seems one clever man got "in trouble" and since bribing the cops pretty much tapped out their monetary resources (I wasn't brave enough to get more sordid details), they're coming back tomorrow.
Why are they on my list? Because I was supposed to go to Junior's house Saturday night. I've never actually been there; this felt like a minor milestone. He's none too happy - apparently he had "things planned" for us. He wouldn't tell me what, but he did hint saying that we'd have to work something out before the strawberries went bad. While that kind of forethought makes me happy - well, DAMMIT!!! I miss him! We haven't spent any time together since before we left for St. Louis; my libido is less than pleased too.
Anyway, enough whining about ruined weekend plans... maybe I'll go with FlamingoKing to the Itzacon dance tomorrow and meet meatpie in person. That might prove entertaining. Ooooh! Perhaps unclesiko will be there; he's great to drown sorrows with.
In the meantime, I'll just Lemming myself:
