Brief Update
OK, so I'm not at a point where I can update the past couple of months, but for those of you who didn't see me at Scarborough this season, I need to share a piece of news:
arbiter_of_cool bought me a promise ring.
We still have a lot of work on the house before we can justify an engagement ring. But more importantly, while I'm ready to be married to him I am most definitely not ready to plan an event.
I know that it doesn't have to be a big event, but I want it to be special. I've waited long enough for it, dammit! Besides, I want to enjoy the process and with all the change happening-moving in (and still unpacking/organizing), new job and such... well, I wouldn't be able to throw myself into it nor enjoy it. And that's just silly. We've got time to do it right.
So... that's the biggest thing, really. More tidbits a I recall them.
