A co-worker and friend's mother recently passed away. We've known each other for at least 5 years now, through my split from Lumpy and hers with her ex-husband, to her marriage and new baby...
She wants me to sing at her mother's funeral. Monday morning.
Erm, wow.
I am very flattered and of course want to do what I can to help her... but hory clap am I nervous! I'm used to my Lace cushion when I bust a move!
She also didn't know what she wanted. I grabbed the Sunday Morning CD from my car for inspiration... so I will be singing "How Can I Keep from Singing?"
All alone.
Did I say "Eeeep!" already?
More importantly, can I remember what the melody of this song sounds like? Don't want to screw up her mom's funeral service... *headdesk*
