Just my luck.. no sooner after I pay off my car early I get into an accident. Luckly I was the one who got rear ended so it is not my fault.
Where I work, there is a gas station at the corner where people from the industrial park I work in go to lunch to grab a sub or a bite to eat from DD. Well I have to make a left hand turn to go down the road to the industrial park (for those of you don't know where I work, or need a better picture, put in First Street, Bondsville, MA). Well the road I travel down to make the left hand turns bends around a small lake. Well there I was, at a complete stop waiting to make my left hand turn, and BAM! I get rear ended. Good amount of damage. Let's just say, she wouldn't be able to run as she left an imprint of her plate (plus paint from the plate) on my rear bumper. Luckly I had two witnesses stating that I had my turn signal on, and she was flying around the corner and ran into me. The cop took my information and her information, gave me her info and sent me on my way, as I wasn't in trouble at all and it was all her fault. He moved his cruiser so I could back up a bit so I could turn down into my parking lot. Let's just say, he started to chew her out about her speed when I pulled away.
A few of my co-workers are thinking that my car might be totaled due to the amount of damage, if so.. oh well! My rental is being payed by my insurance and their insurance (basically i'll let the two insurance companies duke out my $15 a day, and I'll get the difference reimbursed from her insurance company.
Other than that, I'm just a little sore like after you work out after you haven't for a while. The pain hasn't increased but it has done down. So I believe i'm out of the woods for the most part.
I do have pictures that I will post later today when I get home from work.
