Naruto sent a letter back with one of my Jounin envoys this morning. Without reading it, I have an idea of what he said. He would have rather met in person but his mission and my duty wouldn't allow for that. He also would have liked to spar, promising that he wouldn't go easy on me just because I'm the Kazekage, which also makes him want to be Hokage even more.
His words are nearly echoing in my head.
Temari comes to eat lunch with me when she isn't out patrolling. The silence feels like it could go on infinitely, but it is strangely...pleasant. She'll often say how proud of me she is before she leaves. I don't understand why she says this so often, but I must be doing something she approves of.
