Resurrection of the Sandman

I had my 3rd hospital appointment a week ago and had a new X-Ray on my leg, and while I haven't been given a 100% clean bill of health, the quack is confident that I no longer need to go to clinic. He gave me (I would say bleeding obvious, but never underestimate how dense even the smartest of people can be) advice such as "don't do any contact sports" and "don't rush back into your old life", so I have made a partial return to the Down. I am doing about 20 hours, and there are certain restrictions such as no heavy lifting, but it feels more like progression. There's about another 4 weeks before my leg is fully healed, but I can now walk without crutches or my leg brace.

So, with my greater mobility, I have started to venture out more and made a couple of trips to a few new pubs and a trip to the cinema. The film I saw was M3GAN, which was distinctly average and could have benefitted from being more ambiguous and psychological.... and without the unwarranted bit of Doggycide. I visited a pub called "The Coracle," which is a micropub in Ironbridge, and it is pretty much a pub in the space of a large shed. The beer was good and a typical price for Ironbridge. I also ventured to an old haunt I haven't been in for years, and it is comfortingly just the same, even down to having Norman Bates' mother serving behind the bar.

Work has been ok, though doing the lines and a full day shift was a mistake, but it is at least just soreness, not pain.

Stay tuned for some more creative projects I am developing.

Here's a few tease words and phrases: Sitcom, Dylan Thomas, Screen Adaption, Podcast.
