My online classes' winter break doesn't coincide with the dates that I go to California. I'm conflicted. I have all this free time before the 30th, but it's all snowy so I'm not gonna drive anywhere and my Dad has work so I'm not quite sure what to do with myself. I KNOW! I'll start learning PHP. It's a natural response. It's a skill I need to get a job, so I'll have to brush up on my HTML.

Christmas was great! I do miss being with my annoying siblings though. I talked to them on the phone though. Then I remembered how much they drive me nuts and am glad I'm on 'vacation.' I say that lightly since I've had to write a whole essay and some java labs while I've been here. That's not very vacation-like!

So for Christmas eve I decided to playing through Mega Man 5 in one sitting. Having played the series so much now I like to pick the levels in random ways, so I wrote a java class to pick them for me. It was not very pretty but it got the job done. I could probably improve it though. See, world, this is what happens when I don't have homework to work on. I make chores for myself.

I need to find a cheap unlocked phone with a micro SD slot for when I go back on my Dad's T-Mobile plan. Rather than getting my own, it's cheaper to go back on his plan and just pay him the difference.

I can tell I'm getting older when I'd rather pay the premium for car insurance than get a PSP... Though part of that is the reason in my last post where I'm not going to be getting any new games for quite some time. Which is a lie because I got a Gamestop gift certificate for Christmas. Damn you Santa.

I'm going through the Hello world! part of PHP right now and it's making me quite excited. Next stop, MySQL.
