30 Day Music Challenge - day 19 - a song from a favorite album
"Kiko and the Lavender Moon" - Los Lobos

Kiko is an album by Los Lobos that is one of those desert island discs for me. It's no so much as a dreamscape set to music, and this song is one part of it. Up until this point, Los Lobos were a great Chicano garage rock band, the guys to revived Ritchie Valens' "La Bamba" for the biopic movie.
But with the Kiko album and a couple more after that, Los Lobos showed their artistic side. If you get a chance to see them live, this song sounds great. :)
