I don't know if it's a sign of too much or insufficient h/c, but I will so be taken out of the story if the h/c isn't plausible enough. For example, a story where our hero has both kneecaps broken with a baseball bat and goes on to make a full, athletic recovery? I think not.

Otoh, the h/c in my icon? Just right. ;-)

Didn't you read item #3 of the original post? Aggressive snuggling and sponge baths can cure *any* health condition! Busted kneecaps? No problem! Physical therapy? Never heard of it!

As for your icon--that's "that one scene" I'm talking about.
