General update
OK, I haven't been posting much - things at work have been crazy! ANd I must admit that I prefer a-n to LJ. :^(
News: we finally finished the kitchen remodel. New curtain hung, and clock
installed. Yay!
Spent last weekend in Santa Barbara for my niece's 1-year birthday. 60 guests
and my SILs sisters flew in from CT and NY. Yikes!
The detente with my sister continues - we had dinner with her and her DH
and my mom and bro last week. DH and I have now agreed we will not be doing
that again - and this was 8 months after the last time we saw them. :^(
BIL's just rude, and she's so co-dependent it's unbelievable. And of course
it's all our fault, even when he's slamming drinks and refusing to talk
to us, and checking his watch every 3 minutes.
Not much else going on - work, occasional visits with friends and family,
and anticipation to jet ski season! Only 2 more months!
