Update on Archive (aka Project Bullocks)
It has been determined that we need a new home for the archive. *cue group groan and bucket kicking*
Zed, Goddessdster and I talked about what to do, then I went and got sick with allergies and left town for a weekend and kidnapped by aliens I swear to you! It's NOT MY FAULT! But we're back on track now.
D suggested squidge, but Zed felt that it would not be able to handle what we need the archive to do. I sat around and looked pretty.
The end result is that Zed is securing some flexible web space for us; over the next couple of weeks we are installing the software and (hopefully) loading the backup of the old archive to it.
No, I don't know what this means as far as members having to sign back up, reload/check uploaded fic, etc. Hopefully it will go smoothly, but either way, we'll keep you posted.
Sorry for the mess. We're working at getting it cleaned up as quickly as possible! Thanks for you patience, everyone, it is really appreciated. ♥
