GAH! I lose major geek points for not knowing he'd be in town, but luckily I saw a big sign outside the movie theater screening Spaced where he did a Q&A. I practically jumped off the bus. I am SO LUCKY with my timing. I've been so busy worrying about my RL stuff, I've obviously severely neglected my fandoms! I wasn't even taking my normal route home... I can only assume Fate or God or whatever wanted me to meet him. ;)

and i'm hoping to move to NYC in a couple of years, so fingers crosses that i'll get more random famous people encounters. ;-)

NYC is awesome for random and not so random encounters. Since I moved here, I've met John Cleese, Eric Idle, Terry Jones, Bruce Campbell, Lucy Lawless and now SIMON PEGG!!!! IEEEEEE!!!! You'll love it here. ;)
