And that means short sleeves, being outdoors, ( and those awkward hormones )

This = cuteness! Awwww.

Hormones, those deadly chemical mind whackers...heh...

(Good luck on exams! Make us proud! :) Me, I skipped class last night. Baaaad me. I wonder if I get a spanking for that?)

Class-skipping, eh? We may have to burden you with an official reprimand. If only Nicholas were around to take care of the paperwork...

Of course, there's ice-creams and sunscreen for Summer, yard work and maintenance for Autumn, and then blankets for snuggling for Winter... really, the whole cycle of seasons is looking pretty good :p

Oooh. You make a very valid point. :) Mmm... I could go for some nice blanket snuggles...

Your bath time userpic is making me jealous. Partly because of the Nick Frost, and partly because of the water restrictions we have atm :(

I get a squee? *blushes*

After the 15th I'm going to be devoting at least a week to learning my way around photoshop properly. Which means this comm will get spammed so hard.

I have fan art, but I can't edit it. It just looks...dumb.

Any suggestions? What's your method?

I draw in a sketchbook, scan it in, and then use photoshop to make the outlines not look sucky. After that it's all select-and-fill colouring.

If you don't have photoshop (which is great, but can be very expensive if you aren't savvy) or an equivalent, then try Gimp, which is free software and apparently nearly the same thing.

Honestly Gimp isn't bad at all. But I needed a vector art program and could not sell a kidney for Illustrator so I went with CorelDraw, and that software package packs a whollop for cheap. Combines a good vector art program with a photoshop-esque image manip. If you can fork out a few hundred bucks, it is well worth the investment.

Corel is good, that's true. I always forget about it in amidst all my Photoshop pimping. And I used illustrator for a bit when I did a digital design course back in high school, and that was one of the few programs that makes some kind of sense...

I suppose it depends what facilities you have at hand - know anyone you could scab a program off, or have some kind of learning facility nearby you can abuse?

love it! I hope you get the Photo program equipment thingy soon to start spamming the community hard.

I've learned to like that sort of thing since I've been hanging out here. :)
