After looking at myspaces, I've concluded that TJ and Tate are horribly deluded as to their own importance to the music world. Tate still desperately clings to any remaining tatters of his last bit of fame from American Idol, apparently unaware that he was uncool enough to make it to the Top 12. Better than TJ though, who is entrenched happily in his own deluded thoughts that being on MMC with Britney and Justin for two years means that he is the defacto expert on the two of them 12 year later, and will one day share their success.
TJ unfortuantely did not age well. Finally, Blain has been bumped down from the top spot that he's occupied for the last 14 years on Sandy's most disliked 'teers list. Nikki is still there near the top. Keri seems to bounce up and down. She's gorgeous and very talented, but her personality grates on me so much. I read a chat transcript with her online, in which every other line said Keri Russell laughs hysterically. I assumed that was an exaggeration, until I pulled up Keri's interview with Letterman on Youtube. They're not exaggerating.
I had an MMC dream a few days ago. Scary, isn't it? You haven't even heard what the dream's about. Anyways, in my dream (in my dreams, it's still the same, your love for me, it still remains!). Well, 7th season Matt and Nita apparently morphed into one person. That creature was named Manita Morbooth and it was talking about plans to break away from MMC with some of the lesser known 'teers and create their own TV show. After cheering it's own plan, it opened the door to go outside and bumped into 6th season JC and Rhona, who were eavesdropping. Yeah, makes no sense to me either, although I'm horribly amused by Manita Morbooth.
I got promoted at work. Yay - now I'm an analyst, as opposed to an associate analyst. It came with a paltry raise. Pfffurgh. Cheapskates.
Until I'm able to get Windows onto my computer, I've been playing Knights of the Old Republic on my laptop. Not a bad game, although I'm really lousy at it. I'm looking forward to getting Guild Wars up on the new box, though, and for Sims 2 Pets when it comes out. The screenshots I've seen for that look really nice - gorgeous big fluffy dogs!
Speaking of big fluffy dogs, I want a retriever. I bought Cally a new frisbee at Petsmart and took him out into the backyard to play fetch with him. Translation: I threw, he caught, he ran away in opposite direction from me with his new prize, he chewed. So much for the concept of "Return to me with frisbee, I'll throw again, and we can have bundles of fun." That poor frisbee died a horrible dead about two hours later, as Cally destroyed yet another toy. Oh well - I tried.
