We have a ton going on.
Scott's job took a VERY unexpected turn. He is not pleased.
I do not blame him one bit, for the record.
So, basically we aren't moving to Atlanta. (Phew!)
We are both actively looking for a new home and jobs in the Austin area. It'll be a little while, but we would really like to be in a city that is more laid back and we both feel is a good place to raise kids. I have family there, so I wouldn't feel too displaced from my sisters. Plus, when Kaitlin graduates next year, I hear she is wanting to go to UT. :o)
Chelsea has left for France- my dad said she called this morning and she made it there fine, but it was quite cold and rainy. I love her so miuch, it is ridiculous.
I'm going to for sure be visiting her in March- I am SO. EXCITED. This has been my dream since I first cracked open my 7th grade French textbook. Paris, je t'aime!
I saw Brokeback Mountain this weekend- I thought Heath Ledger kicked ass in that movie. He was excellent. Hi, I forgive you for A Knight's Tale.
I'm exhausted. I start mentoring tomorrow at the high school by my job- I hope that my kid is open to letting somoeone listen to them talk about what is going on in their life.
You know, it's fucking amazing sometimes.
98% of the time, I still feel like a kid myself.
Blah, back to the grind tomorrow...
