Battle of the bored interns...
We had a mailing today. It was rather exciting. I haven't seen most of the other interns for quite some time and chatting, gossiping, and bitching with them was so much fun.
I pitched my battle of the bands idea to them as an intern/development fundraiser project and they were all really enthused. Its exciting to see them want to roll their sleeves up and do something. Maybe we can get some of the Clinical interns to help on this too?
Finally received my package from mom. She threw in some fun things from home, all my birthday cards, etc, etc. I'm glad its finally here.
Rain has fallen for the first time since I arrived in San Francisco. It started yesterday morning and rained most of the day yesterday. The weather said it was going to be rainy this morning as well and then stop but it is still raining off and on.
Getting bakeries for this gala is harder than it seems. Nobody wants to eat day old bread at an event they paid 150 dollars to come to.
I'm still narrowing down my list of graduate schools. I'm such a spaz that I am doing this now when I am not even going to go to graduate school until fall of 2010 or 2011. LMAO...yeah, its always good to know and research though. It's going to be 2008 pretty soon and by then I'll have to take the GMAT, send those scores to schools, and apply in fall 2009 for entry that next year. SOOOOOO time consuming >_<
Eric came over the other day and we watched Nip-Tuck. that show is screwed up let me just tell you what. Seriously, its crazier than Flavor of Love, and that's saying something.
