So a guy jumped in the river right by my work. All the ambulances, fire trucks and squad cars parked in my lot for about an hour. They fished the guy out, but he was pretty much dead when they finally got to him.
The water was probably 40 degrees. It took them the better part of 20 minutes to find him.
He was running from Grand Ave. mall with stolen purses, chased by a security guard.
I was interviewed as a witness for the 10 o'clock news.
I looked good in my 3 seconds of TV time.
