The second session with Lee
...As scheduled, I met Lee for his tutoring session today. I punched him after he lunged at me.
We covered the seven theories of communication. After only two sessions, we've covered a lot of material already. But Lee said that his professor has already discussed more than half of the lessons. I'll have to think of a way to make him catch up.
When I told him I'd go to his outing, he gave me a really big smile. Perhaps he was fat before, and suddenly grew thin. His mouth seemed to stretch beyond normal proportion. I wonder if he spends hours brushing his teeth- I did not think it was possible for enamel to glint like that.
Lee mentioned that his friends will be joining in the outing. I will make sure Temari comes with me, and Kankuro, when he's back from...his duties. I don't even know why he invited me.
I was also invited earlier by Uzumaki. We ate at Ichiraku's. The ramen was fine, though I wish they served some with tongue.

Gaara texts Lee to meet him at the park- where he waits for the other while leaning on one of the trees. It's his favorite spot.
Lee spots Gaara by the tree and promptly runs up to pull him into a Manly Hug of Youthful Friendship~
Gaara doesn't notice Lee until he's only a few feet away. The hug makes him stumble and fall to the ground. He ends up punching Lee in the face. Then he scrambles back, wary of an attack.
Lee apologizes for starlting Gaara (he figures that's why he was hit- the element of surprise), and asks what they'll be going over today~
Gaara stares at Lee for a few moments, still watching for any sign of attack. But after a while, he stands up and walks closer. A few seconds of silence before he asks Lee for his notebook. He starts on the many different kinds of theories- seven in all, and explains each.
Lee pays attention- randomly trying to make normal conversation as well.
Gaara finishes the lesson after it starts to get dark. He apologizes hesitantly for the bruise on Lee's cheek before telling him that he'll be going to the picnic / outing.
Lee totally accepts that apology, saying he shouldn't have surprised him like that. He seems really happy Gaara will be going, says it will be great with more of his friends going (hinting that he thinks of Gaara as a friend figure).
Gaara looks confused and doesn't comment, but he nods and goes back to his dorm. He doesn't say goodbye.
