Character info
Series/Fandom: Star Wars
Character's Name: Anakin Skywalker
Character's Sex: Male
Character's Age: 19 (soon to be 20).
Canon point: During Attack of the Clones, on the way to Tatooine.
Abilities: As a Jedi Padawan, Anakin has been studying the fighting styles of Form V. He's skilled with his lightsaber, but not as much as a Jedi Knight or Master. He's also attuned to the Force and is capable of using telekineses, Force Jumps, Force Pushes, Jedi Mind Tricks (which will be capped entirely), and Animal Friendship. He's also experienced dream predictions, which for him tend to be a self-defeating prophecy.

He's skilled with droids, and is a very talented pilot. Give him any sort of piloting vehicle and he could probably figure out how to use it in a short amount of time.
Strengths: Anakin is a skilled and talented Jedi Padawan. His strengths lie in his passion. He's a quick, offensive, powerful fighter, leaving his opponents little room to defend themselves. He prefers to get closer rather than remain on the defense. He's fairly adaptable though. His fighting style is unique in that it incorporates many different styles, but he easily favors Shien and Djem So styles of Form V.

Anakin is also naturally highly attuned to the Force. He's skilled at using telekineses, Force Jumps, Force Pushes, Jedi Mind Tricks (which only work on the weak-minded and aren't entirely reliable) and even Animal Friendship. When it comes to the Force, he was a fast learner despite his late start. Still a Padawan, he isn't as skilled as he is when he becomes a Jedi Knight. However, he has great potential, and a lot of unmastered, raw power.
Weaknesses: While Anakin is a strong offensive fighter, he's a bit like a short distance sprinter: he's powerful, and fast, but not always enduring. His defense is also poor when compared to his offense. These flaws cost him when he battles Count Dooku. Fortunately, he has yet to reach that point. Much of his weaknesses come from his inexperience. Anakin isn't that inexperienced, but compared to say, a Jedi Master or Knight (even an ex-Master), he has a lot to learn.
Background: His very lengthy wiki page.
Appearance: Picture
Personality: Anakin is many things: a Jedi Padawan, mechanic, and pilot. One of Anakin’s strongest roles is being a pilot. His affinity for flying holds some connections to how he faces life. He’s fast, impatient, and prefers to get to the heart of things. Rarely is he one for philosophizing or reflection. He takes some things for face value. For example, Palpatine. The Chancellor acts kind to Anakin and makes pretty speeches filled with promises. Therefore, Palpatine must be a good, kind man. Anakin isn’t one to mince words. He does make the effort to be eloquent at times, but it usually turns out clumsy and even cliché. He makes the effort though.

Anakin has a strong rebellious streak in him, and little respect for authority. He’s still searching for his own individuality. He fights the influence of others, yet many of his decisions are based on just that. He tends to agree most with the people he looks up to most, those people being Obi-Wan, Padmé, and Palpatine. His rebellious nature is partially due to his age, just short of twenty, and also due to his past as a slave.

Anakin’s recklessness and lack of forethought isn’t to be mistaken with him lacking intelligence. When he’s in his field, he’s bright, possessing the mind of a prodigy. Naturally intuned with the Force, he’s quick to react and resourceful when he wants to be. He cleverly creates strategies at the spur of the moment. He has a natural knack for fixing droids and machinery, reading them better than he reads most people. He also develops a fondness for certain droids, treating them similarly to people and even coming to their defense when certain people (Obi-Wan) try to make fun of them.

Anakin is certainly a person of all extremes. He does nothing half-heartedly. While strongly gifted in some aspects, he’s incredibly weak in others. He falls victim to his own emotions, weaker in coping with them than most Jedi. It’s true, Anakin is more openly loving and affectionate. At least with those few he considers dear. He’s also more prone to attachment, to the point of becoming possessive when facing possible loss. This fear is often his driving force in many of his most destructive decisions. His love is a double-edged sword.

One of Anakin’s greatest strengths is his loyalty. He fiercely values the trait in others and is highly loyal to the people he cares for himself. The issue is at times he’s conflicted on who to be loyal to. His duty to the Jedi, especially Obi-Wan? The woman he’s falling in love with? At times, he also has trouble trusting the people he cares most about to be equally loyal. His expectations are high, unrealistic even. He has a habit of idealizing those he admires and cares for, and when they don’t meet his standards he’s quick to become angry.

Contrary to popular opinion, Anakin is not someone who goes around announcing his emotions to anyone and everyone. Around an acquaintance or stranger, he’s much more guarded. He even hides some of his strongest emotions around Obi-Wan. However, with Obi-Wan, it’s not the same as it is with mere acquaintances. He values Obi-Wan’s opinion and craves the man’s approval too much to be open about anything he thinks would truly disappoint him: his deep love for Padme, the outrage and hate he feels when his Mother dies-and so forth. There are other, better ways to torment Obi-Wan, such as flying.

Anakin is a young man, and a man of his passions. He is capable of great love, loyalty, and bravery, but equally capable of jealousy, hatred, and violence.
Strengths: The Jedi frown upon succumbing to one's emotions, but for Anakin they are a great strength. Most of Anakin's drive comes from his emotional passion, and his determination. Some people might argue and call him stubborn, but either way when he becomes set on something there's very little that can stop him. Anakin is loyal to the people he cares about most. Again, for a Jedi he would be considered too attached, but it's part of what makes him a good person. It's clear he would do anything for Padmé and Obi-Wan. Anakin is very loving toward to some select few people. Too much so, for a Jedi, but it's still a good, and currently untainted quality of his.
Weaknesses: Anakin's greatest strength is also his greatest weakness: his emotions. He describes himself his struggles with acting rational. It's simply not in his nature. Anakin is not the type of person normally able to shut off his emotons as easily as one would a lightswitch. They strengthen him, but can also be used against him. His inability to control his emotions at times leads him to many reckless decisions. He's naturally aggressive as it is. The fact that he doesn't always listen to reason only makes him more dangerous. Anakin also has a tendency to be arrogant and reckless. He overestimates his own abilities and makes snap judgments which often get him into more trouble than he was to begin with.

Anakin is also a fairly reserved person around people he doesn't know as well. Not to the point of only conversing in the form of ellipses, but it still is difficult to get him out of his shell.

[He still doesn't buy the idea that their worlds are gone. Someone would have sensed something. He would have sensed something.

But there are other more important things to worry about now. Like finding two people, one he's been assigned to protecting.

And what about his Mother? What happened to her? Was this what his dreams meant?

When he looks into the video, he's tense, on edge. His voice comes out terse and demanding and if anyone looks past his shoulder, they'll notice a Moogle making a quick escape from the young man. That's the last time the Moogle offers a new arrival Icecream!]

I'm looking for a woman named Padmé and a man named Obi-Wan. Where can I find them?

[A pause.] Can either of you see this?

[Another long pause. He runs through all the options in his head. But he's never been one for waiting around, and being cautious at this time would just be impractical. Every moment spent away from Padmé just puts her in more potential danger. And...he doesn't want to think about it.

The way he sees it, going out and searching is the best possible thing to do.]

I'll pilot one of those...gummi ships until I find you.

[He feels a little stupid talking when there's no answer, but he figures it would be better to let them know for when they see this. Glancing to the side, he shuts it off.]

Electric blue sliced through shadows. The Heartless Anakin had been fighting disappeared. Not gone, just recovering. With no chance for respite, even if he wanted, the Jedi Padawan was met with another wave of the Heartless. He liked it this way. Heartless never really "died", so he wasn't doing harm, but he was able to take out his aggression on them. He knew he shouldn't. Knew it would disappoint Obi-Wan. He kept attacking them anyway.

It didn't fix anything, and it didn't do anything to protect Padmé. He hated feeling so helpless. It was a feeling he was growing more familiar with lately. It only made him yearn to become more powerful, until nothing could stop him. No Darkness, no Dark Side, nothing. Jedi were supposed to protect. What good was he if he couldn't do something as simple as that?

The Heartless couldn't die, but they could help him become stronger.

Eventually, the Heartless stopped appearing. Anakin wasn't sure if they had gotten bored or what, and he didn't really care. He put his lightsaber back on his belt and began to head back, only to have something out of the corner of his eye stop him. He kneeled down to pick it up. He recognized it. It was a Paopu fruit. Some of the locals on Destiny Islands had spoke of a legend surrounding the fruit. If he shared one with Padmé, would their destinies be intertwined for forever?

It was a stupid concept, and it would do nothing to prove Padmé just how mature he was now. Besides, he believed their destinies had been intertwined from the start. He didn't need some fruit to prove that.

He pocketed it anyway, and headed back to the gummi ship.
