Sex Is Super!
I was half watching a random interview on the tube this evening where the interviewee was asked if he thought something was over-sexed (clearly I was paying explicit attention). His answer was something like "is there such a thing?," but not in a cliche/coy/oohlala sort of way, but rather a way that seemed very genuine. Perhaps I'm just naive and hearing what I want to...but it's got me thinking -
really, IS THERE SUCH A THING?!
When and why did sex catch such a bad wrap? Boo to that. Sex is super. If you can be a responsible adult and lose your mind a little at the same time - you've pretty much got a lid on it (if you can really get a lid on sex at all...that seems silly). We're told not to talk about sex, not to let people know we're having it - and it all sort of eases you into believing it's a shameful act, and if you're feeling guilty about it you aren't enjoying it. Boo to that, as well. Sex only hurts people's feelings because they think it's something completely unlike its self. Mayhaps through miscommunication, also - but thats a whole new bag.
I wish people took life a little less seriously.
Leaving for the Ich Liebe Day festivities tomorrow in the AM. I'm sure I'll have stupid photos for you upon my return.
