God's Chosen
Yay. This weekend is going to rock. My pastor is like a dad to me. He's giving me a few tickets to his son's (and daughter and law...who rocks too) concert up in Anderson this weekend. If anybody wants to go with us, make sure to tell me. Also, I need to find somebody to help me move my big screen to the church. I still think it's hilarious that the pastor offered to pay me for it. To him it's the same as the rest of my friends. "What's mine is freely yours." I mean, I'm not the greatest financially, but I'm on my way there. I don't need all that money, especially if it's a gift. I'd do anything for the people at church. I've been to a few churches in my time, but this one is the greatest. Our goal is to be like the church in Acts, and BOY we (not to pat ourselves on the back, but it's the best I've seen so far) are getting close to it. If you've ever been there, you'd see how much we love one another and how deeply we all care for each other. I just hope that I can live up to the standards that Tom and Greg, and even Trent have set for me. I'd hate to fail them. But hey, Jesus is on my side, whom else do I need?
