Final Month
I'm entering my final month here at SAU. It's kinda exciting, but scary as well. I had an interview this past week for a company in Grand Rapids. The interview went REALLY well. I should find out tomorrow if I'm going to get called back for a second interview later this week. If I get the second interview, the final hiring decision should be made by the end of this week. Like I said, the interview went really well, even according to the president of the company, who is the person who interviewed me. It's kinda surreal that I could know in a week or so whether I have a full time job when I graduate! The president of the company liked the interview and said he liked something on my resume, I just hope he likes me well enough to call me back for that second interview.
This past weekend I went to IWU with Travis Traxler. We didn't leave till 9 p.m. friday night, but we had so much fun! I was able to see a couple of people I know down there, meet some new people, and see my aunt, uncle, and cousin! I figured I'd give my aunt and uncle a call since I was only like 30 minutes from where they live. Like I said, it was a blast. I hadn't been down there since I was considering going to IWU as a senior in high school. I'm sort of ashamed at myself for not going down there sooner to visit people. But oh well, no sense dwelling on the past. Travis and I stood out in the freezing cold yesterday to watch his girlfriend's soccer game. Even though it was freezing, it was still good times. Although I can't say I want to be out in the cold like that for a LONG time. And contrary to what Lisa Brown wants...the forecast is for HIGH 50S for our birthday, not snowy weather. Hopefully Spring will finally come to stay. I'm getting sick of snow and cold, especially in the middle of April. Stupid Michigan weather...
This week will be a busy one...oy. But hopefully I'll get to see Lacey this weekend after 5 months!
