[He looks around, staggering a bit, looking for the source of the laughter. But then it dawns on him whose it is. Oh ho, so you're impressed by this, ghost!daughter? When he sees you, he smirks.]

Of course I am! A damn fine one. Look I've learned in just a few days.

[Reading from his book again, and with a few more gestures, Theo casts another spell. It's hard to top an exploding car, so this time he'll aim for the top of a tree. The whole thing shakes, leaves flying everywhere and some startled birds take flight.]

I dunno! I never got stabbed in the face before. Is it, like, worse than other places?

Dunno. Never got stabbed anywhere else. I've been shot twice and apparently I got eaten once, but I don't remember any of those. Was over too quick.

[Not liking where this conversation is going, Theo casts another quick spell to pop the top off a nearby fire hydrant.]

Fortunately, she is very easily distracted, and continues to laugh and clap like the amused child she is.]

Normally necromancy's my specialty, and I've been learning defensive spells too. I know a bit of alchemy as well. Attack spells are new to me so I don't know much besides these so far. I'm learning them fairly quickly though. Maybe I'll move onto some elemental spells next.
