11th Resurrection - A Normal Life
[Unable to cast magic, being stuck in a boring job and unable get any decent books anywhere in town, Theo's getting a bit bored and stir-crazy. He's read most of the books from the library Mayfield returned to him, has set up spells as best as he can around his house, and has used the drones in the house as, er, donors for some spell components he's been saving up. He'd been trying his best to keep it from Kay, the only other non-drone in the house, so she wouldn't cause him any problems.
On Father's Day, he finds a present from said not!daughter sitting on the desk in his study, containing a bottle of red wine and a carton of Lucky Strikes.
... he's not quite sure how to feel about that.
At any rate, he's decided what he needs is a distraction - a hobby. Something engrossing and challenging but nothing physical. If one more of his drone coworkers asks him to come play golf, he's going to stab them with a letter opener. So, he's settled on mechanics. Does he even know how to *drive* a car? Nope. But he won't admit that.
So, on this bright sunny day, Theo's out in the driveway, under the car, which he actually managed to jack up, to see if he can fix that oil leak the drone wife's been complaining about. A few books on car care are strewn about near by. There will be a lot of cursing and banging and oil coming form underneath that car. Feel free to help/annoy/point and laugh at/inquire into what he's up to!]
