Oy! Theo! There you are!

[He's not aiming for you, Ken, you're safe. It's Bernkastle and Cain who better keep on their toes. The crows squawk at Ken, saying hello.]

[Ken smiles and waves at the birds, he kinda likes the annoying little things now.]

Just checkin' up on you. Last week was kinda hellish.

Yeah...same here. [Ken gives Theo a look that's half embarrassment and half annoyance. ]

Oh. [He notices the cat for the first time) The crows have a friend.

[The cat is dozing on the bench next to Theo, not paying much mind to the new visitor.]

He's not yours? Huh, I wonder why Mayfield sent him to you then. Still, he's so cuuuute....[Sorry Theo, Ken loves cats.]

[Oh geez Ken, have some dignity. Or so thinks the guy who spends all day talking to birds.]

He belonged to my former mentor. They send me his stuff on occasion, the sick bastards. Still, I think he'd notice the cat's gone missing.

[Hey, when all of your friends have cat breed code names, you get a little fond of the creature.]

Well, considering the way this place works, I doubt it.

He's a normal cat, mostly. He's immortal. He's older than both of us combined.

Eh? Really? Wow, and I thought your pets couldn't get any weirder.

He's normal in all other respects, though his laziness reaches new levels, even for a cat.

That's not surprising, that's what cats are built to do. They eat, and they sleep, and that's it.

A lot of people use them for familiars, but I never saw the appeal.
