This weekend
On Saturday, C and I decided to hit Indy. We were heading there for something, though I can't remember why exactly. We were going to go look at an apartment, and go to dinner. We started out midafternoon, hitting Waffle House for breakfast, then to the apartment (which happened to be closed), then on to the mall. Bought Dad some gifts, then bought tickets for a movie.
We went to see Fast and Furious - Tokyo Drift. The acting wasn't thrilling but the racing was. I enjoyed it. After that, we went to P.F. Chang's. Their Ahi Tuna was amazing. We shared the Duck and Mongolian Beef. We're definately going there again!!!
We decided to hit the Circle. And while sitting on the steps, I saw the carriages go by. Finally talking C into it, we decide to take a carriage ride down by the Capital and Canal. Very romantic.
We finally got home at 1am, making it a full day.
Next day, we had to go down to his Grandmother's because we found out she just had a heart attack. Not good. We may go visit her again soon. While we were there, we rode his father's ATV. And that is not a 2 person vehicle! C took us out to the woods and we ran through overgrown trails getting whacked in the face by branches and hit in the legs by bushes. Way too much fun, though my ass is still sore from taking that bumpy ride sitting on the rack instead of a seat!
Tomorrow I have my testing for IUPUI. Joyful.
